HUTB Students Performed Well in 2020 Hunan Provincial E-Commerce Competition for College Students

On December 5, the 2020 Hunan Provincial E-Commerce Competition for College Students, hosted by the Department of Education of Hunan Province and the Department of Commerce of Hunan Province and co-hosted by the E-commerce Education Professional Committee of Hunan Higher Education Association, the School of Business Administration of HUTB and Changsha Electronic Commerce Association, was held in Hunan University. A total of 109 college student teams attended the final of the competition on site.

 


As previous competitions, this year’s competition was composed of a theme contest and a cross-boarder e-commerce contest. The theme contest was held in the form of e-commerce plan. The cross-boarder e-commerce contest was held in the form of cross-border export platform B2B+B2C practical contest and real big data PPT analysis report for national or industry or product based on AliExpress platform. With excellent spiritual outlook and professionalism, well-prepared contestants representing HUTB performed well in the fierce competition with teams from other colleges and universities, winning 1 second prize and 1 third prize in the theme contest and 1 first prize, 1 second prize and 1 third prize in the cross-border e-commerce contest.

 

A total of 2233 college student teams from 42 colleges and universities attended this year’s competition. Under the theme of “Innovation, Creativity, Entrepreneurship and Practice”, the event set up for the first time the category of practical and big data analysis of cross-border e-commerce industry platform. Recently, HUTB received the plaque reading “China (Changsha) Integrated Pilot Zone for Cross-Border E-Commerce Cross-Border E-Commerce Talent Incubation Base Pilot Unit”. Taking the competition as an opportunity to improve teaching and learning, participating teachers and students from HUTB performed well in the competition, adding fame to HUTB.(Reported by Luo Shuanglin and Liu Ying from School of Economy & Trade)
