Recently, the School of Business Administration organized a“Letters from Home”campaign to collect and publish students’ letters to their loved ones online. This activity was designed to vigorously promote core socialist values, to carry forward excellent traditional Chinese virtues, and to create a positive and united anti-epidemic atmosphere throughout the school.

During this campaign, students actively participated and wrote out their deep feelings. As of the deadline, the organizing committee received a total of 784 letters from students fromall overthe country. In these letters, students expressed their sincere feelings, including gratitude for parents’ upbringing, love for the culture and land of their hometowns, and firm confidence in China’s success in fighting the epidemic. It is learned that some students also have relatives who work on the frontline against the epidemic. By writing letters, these students conveyed gratitude and encouragement to their families and also expressed deep respect for all the anti-epidemic staff fighting on the frontline.

Through this activity, students can better develop their senses of patriotism, gratitude, and responsibilities and form a new style of socialist family virtues featuring patriotism, family love, mutual love and care, aspiration for the pursuit of excellence and moral integrity, and joint building and sharingin the New Era of Socialism.(Reported by Wang Chengmei)
