School of Law & Public Administration Holds Series of Orientation Lectures for Postgraduate Class of 2023

From October 19 to 22, the School of Law & Public Administration held a series of orientation lectures for the postgraduate class of 2023 in the Moot Court of Lezhi Building, in a bid to cultivate the patriotism and awareness of the postgraduate class of 2023on scientific research, improve their innovation abilities, and help them appropriately plan their study and campus life and smoothly start a new chapter of learning.

 


On the morning of October 19, Professor Hu Yanxiang, Party Sectary General of the School, Ms Yuan Lu, Vice Party Sectary General of the School, and Mr. Wen Zhang from the Graduate Affairs Office gave lectures on the subjects of Education in Patriotism and Love for Alma Mater, Study of Guiding Principles of National Graduate Education Conference, Education on Regulations, Systems and Safety. On the afternoon of October 20, Professor Xiang Yanzhong, Associate Professor Xiang Xiuying, and Xu Liru, a graduate student enrolled in 2019 gave training lectures on the subjects of Career Planning Education, Mental Health Educationand Peer Education, respectively. On the evening of October 22, Professor He Zhijun and Associate Professor Hu Jun gave lectures on the subjects of Education in Scientific Research Innovationand Education in Humanities and Academic Literacy, respectively.

 

With rich, comprehensive and systematic contents, this series of theme lectures have pointed out the study direction, scientific research criteria and life goals for the postgraduate class of 2023. The students expressed that they wouldcarefully study the contents of these lectures. They said that in the next three years, they wouldwork hard to complete the study and research tasks, appropriately position themselves for future career development, foster patriotism and noble personality, abide by campus systems, improve safety awareness, and maintain physical and mental health, to strive to be “Excellent Students” of HUTB and the “Shining Legal Practitioner” in the new era.
