School of Economy & Trade Holds 160th “Lushan Alumni and Entrepreneur Forum”

On the evening of December 9, the School of Economy & Trade held the 160th "Lushan Alumni and Entrepreneurs Forum" in Classroom D304 of Rixin Building. Yuan Chunyan, Senior Deputy General Manager and Deputy Director of Commercial Headquarters of Sany Group Heavy Industry Co., Ltd, an expert member of China Federation of Logistics and & Purchasing, a part-time master tutor of HUTB, an entrepreneurial tutor of the School of Economy & Trade of HUTB, Vice President of the Alumni Association, and a HUTB alumna majoring in International Trade in the class of 1996, was invited there to give a lecture themed at “Digitalization and International Development of Sany Heavy Industry”. The teacher and student representatives of the School heard the lecture.

 


In the lecture, Yuan Chunyan introduced Sany Group’s development history, digital strategy, practices and path, “three engine” system of overseas business, international strategy and other ideas. Basing on her study and work experience, she expounded to the students the importance of virtuous cycle, professionalism, systematic learning, innovative thinking training and other factors for becoming an expert. She also explained the necessity of work experience accumulation after graduation. She emphasized that to create new situations for personal development, college students must clearly understand the new trends of digitalization and internationalization, seize the new opportunities in the enterprise and industry development, improve their own quality and skills, and strive to become the compound talents needed by the times. After the lecture, on behalf of the School of Economy and Trade, Professor Luo Shuanglin presented the Certificates of Part-time Master Tutor and Entrepreneurial Tutor to Yuan Chunyan.

 

This lecture has made the students fully understand Sany Group’s digital and international development and broadened their new horizons. Meanwhile, it has aroused the students' interest in deeply understanding the digital economy and intelligent manufacturing industry and further guided the students toward the correct outlooks on employment and development.
