The lecture was attended by Yuan Lu, Vice Party Sectary of the School of Law & Public Administration, as well as the head of the Student Affairs Division, instructors and more than 120 studentsof the class of 2023 majoring in law and social work. Yang Kai, Director of the Student Affairs Division hosted the lecture.

Before the start of the lecture, on behalf of the school, Vice Party Secretary Yuan Lu granted the Certificate of Tutor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practices to Ma Mingming. Subsequently, Ma Mingming shared with the students about his study in HUTB as well as life and entrepreneurial experiences, and then went on to the theme of this lecture. He reminded the students that they should put study first to accumulate and broaden their knowledge. He took his entrepreneurial experience as an example and pointed out the philosophy of “choice is greater than effort”. Choosing a right career path can yield twice the result with half the effort. He suggested that during the university years, students should find their correct life positioning and understand what suits them and what they want. He holds that entrepreneurship is very hard and unduplicated and that it requires a lot of preliminary accumulation and a good ability to resist stress. He hopes that after finding the correct positioning, the students can always hold on to their own ideas and choices no matter how others interfere. Finally, in the Q&A part, Mr. Ma and the students interacted warmly. He answered the questions the students raised on innovation and entrepreneurship one by one.
