Volunteers from School of Art & Design Provides Full-service Support for the "Hustle and Bustle of China Design and Art Week"

Recently, the inaugural "Hustle and Bustle of China Design and Art Week" of 2023, jointly organized by the China Furniture & Decoration Chamber of Commerce (CFDCC) and Xihai Cornerstone Education Group, opened in Changsha.
Tang Zhaohui, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the School of Art & Design, was invited to attend the launch ceremony and present a flag to the volunteer service team. Over 50 volunteers, led by team captain Zhou Zhipeng from the Environmental Design Class 2101, solemnly took an oath.
To ensure the success of this major event, the Youth League Committee of the School of Art & Design proactively planned and coordinated with the organizers, recruiting and training nearly 200 volunteers in advance. During the 7-day event, volunteers worked tirelessly between the campus and the event venue, ensuring a balance between learning and volunteer service. They wholeheartedly assisted the organizers and hosts in tasks such as venue arrangement, guest reception, etiquette services, maintaining order, and event promotion. They provided thoughtful services to the leaders and guests as well as on-site audiences from all over China. They worked in close collaboration with the organizers and staff to create a safe and orderly environment. They created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, showcasing the civilized demeanor of contemporary college students and the vibrant spirit of Changsha, the Star City.
As the world's first home lifestyle art week rooted in the streets and alleys, "Hustle and Bustle of China Design and Art Week" introduced a new display, experiential, and communication mode for consumers. With the participation of 16 outstanding domestic and international brands, the event showcased "good brands, good design, and good products" to over 3 million on-site audiences, tourists, and millions of online households. Renowned designers and well-known companies from across the country shared excellent design achievements and products with both on-site and online audiences.
