HUTB Holds An Exchange Symposium with Hunan No.5 Engineering Co., Ltd.

On the morning of January 18, our university held an exchange symposium with Hunan No.5 Engineering Co., Ltd. at the Conference Room 1210 in Xiangjiang Building. The meeting was attended by Chen Xiaohong, Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee, Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory, and CAE Academician; Yang Liangqi, a member of CPC HUTB Committee and Vice President of HUTB; Long Xing, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chairman of Hunan No.5 Engineering Co., Ltd.; and Yan Changming, a member of the CPC Committee and Vice General Manager of Hunan No.5 Engineering Co., Ltd. Relevant department heads from both sides also attended the meeting.
Chen Xiaohong, Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee, Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory, and CAE Academician, welcomed Chairman Long Xing and his delegation's visit. She pointed out that our university's Moon Island Campus is located in the Daze Lake area of Wangcheng, Changsha. It is planned to be an important new site for the university and Xiangjiang Laboratory to carry out teaching, research, and experimental training activities. The university attaches great importance to the construction of the Moon Island Campus and held a groundbreaking ceremony last December, officially initiating the construction of the new campus. Hunan No.5 Engineering Co., Ltd. enjoys a good reputation in the construction industry. This time, they stood out among more than 30 high-quality bidding enterprises, including several central enterprises, showcasing their outstanding strength. It is believed that they can complete the Moon Island Campus project construction with high quality, efficiency, and standards, ensuring timely completion and quality. She expressed the hope that both sides can cooperate sincerely and work together to empower green, energy-efficient, and smart campus construction with digital intelligence technology, so as to make the Moon Island Campus project a benchmark demonstration and a high-quality engineering project in the construction field.
Long Xing, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chairman of Hunan No.5 Engineering Co., Ltd., expressed gratitude for the warm reception from HUTB and Academician Chen Xiaohong. He felt greatly encouraged by the opportunity to successfully undertake the construction project of the Moon Island Campus. He introduced an overview of Hunan No.5 Engineering Co., Ltd., including representative projects undertaken by the company. He pointed out that the group possesses excellent construction capabilities and enjoys a good reputation and influence in the industry. They are also at the forefront in the fields of green construction, intelligent construction, and smart buildings. He stated that the group attaches great importance to the construction project of the Moon Island Campus at HUTB. They will scientifically formulate construction plans, clarify timelines, roadmaps, and construction drawings. They will fully coordinate with the university on the engineering details and processes, and they are confident and capable of completing the project well, contributing to the high-quality development of HUTB.
After the meeting, both sides had in-depth discussions on project construction, digital intelligence empowerment in the construction industry, scientific research cooperation, and other aspects.
