Recently, in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 75th anniversary of the establishment of HUTB, an exhibition of calligraphy, painting, and photography works created by the university's retired faculty and staff was held at the faculty activity center in Siyuan Building. The event was organized by the Retirement Division, with the association of painting and calligraphy of the aged people and the senior photographers association as the co-organizers. The aim was to celebrate the great achievements of the People's Republic of China through art, and to review and showcase the history of struggles and progress and development achievements of HUTB over the past 75 years.
The event, themed "Praising Our Great Motherland Together, Celebrating the New Achievements of Our University," featured over 60 works of calligraphy, painting, and photography. The exhibition showcased the beautiful landscapes of the motherland and the rapid changes of the university, as captured by the retired faculty and staff through their brushes and cameras. The exhibited works not only showcased the remarkable achievements of the People's Republic of China but also highlighted the significant accomplishments of HUTB since its establishment. At the same time, these works reflected the fulfilling lives of retired faculty and staff, conveying an optimistic life attitude and a vibrant spirit.
This calligraphy, painting, and photography exhibition is not only a heartfelt celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 75th anniversary of the establishment of HUTB, but also a tribute to the hard work and selfless dedication of the retired faculty and staff. Through this event, we not only experience the charm of art and culture but also feel the beautiful blessings and expectations that the retired educators have for the continued development of the university.
