HUTB Organizes "First Safety Lesson of the New Semester" Activity

On October 13, HUTB invited Su Bo, an officer from the Dazehu Police Station, and Luo Yuanbo, a fire safety instructor from Hunan Xiang'an Fire Science Popularization Promotion Co., Ltd., to the Feiyue Sports Field at the north campus to conduct the "First Safety Lesson of the New Semester" activity for the autumn semester of 2024.

Officer Su Bo analyzed common methods and tactics of telecom fraud through numerous real-life cases and detailed data, offering targeted prevention and response measures. He also advised students to firmly establish awareness of fraud prevention, consciously avoid and resist illegal activities, and not become "tools" for telecom fraud.

Instructor Luo Yuanbo cited recent real fire cases in Hunan to clearly explain fire safety knowledge, effectively educating and alerting students. This enhanced their ability to self-rescue and respond to emergencies in the event of a fire.

This lecture is one of the activities in the university's "First Safety Lesson of the New Semester" series. The university will continue to strengthen safety management by organizing specialized lectures, class-themed education, and other activities. The aim is to standardize safety management mechanisms, comprehensively strengthen the safety education and protection network, and build a safe and harmonious campus.
