HUTB Organizes Summer AIDS Prevention Publicity and Education Campaign

On the afternoon of August 12, the “AIDS Prevention Publicity and Education Campaign for College Students”, organized by the Hunan Provincial Association of STD and AIDS Prevention and Control and HUTB, was held in the Rixin Building. Nearly 150 student military training instructors participated in the event.
In the event, Kuang Yun, a social worker from Changsha Zhongda Sunshine Social Work Service Center, delivered a speech titled “The Condom Knowledge You Don’t Know About”, which allows students to understand how to protect themselves under different situations.
Liang Lu, Director of Changsha Renyi Red Ribbon Health Promotion Center, elaborated on such topics as the basic knowledge of AIDS, AIDS prevention knowledge, AIDS trends, quick detection of AIDS, prevention before and after exposure, and AIDS treatment and care in an understandable and comprehensive manner, and called on all the students to protect themselves, focus on prevention, object to discrimination and treat AIDS properly.
