Catch a duck, beat the drum to pass flowers, talent shows, and share the happiest childhood story......Recently, college students from HUTB visited two local rural primary schools, namely Wufeng Primary School and Yunping Primary School. They not only donated more than 1000 exquisite books to the children, but also played games with them. The college students shared their growth stories, and encouraged the children to study hard, love life and grow happily.

 

Li Qin, Principal of Wufeng Primary School, said that the children opened up their minds, and shared with the elder brothers and sisters their stories about study, life and worries. They also learned songs from the college students. The event meant a lot to the children. The school has received exquisite books from the group led by Liang Xiao, a teacher from HUTB, on many occasions. Recently, the school opened a reading class, and allowed students to read books during the class break. In this process, books have become a part of their curriculum and life.

 

Li Qin said, “Books have become the most favorite gift for these kids, and what they enjoy most is reading.”
