"Toward 2035: Integration and Innovation for the Future" Technology and Culture Expo Held in Changsha

XINHUANET, Changsha, May 30 (Reporters Xie Ying, Hu Hongsheng) – On the morning of May 29, the opening ceremony of the "Toward 2035: Integration and Innovation for the Future" Technology and Culture Expo (2025 Technology Festival) and "Future Technologies and Future Industry Innovation" Academic Symposium, jointly organized by HUTB and Xiangjiang Laboratory, was held at HUTB. Nearly 20 academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, along with foreign academicians, and over 100 experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs attended the event.


The Technology and Culture Expo, themed "Toward 2035: Integration and Innovation for the Future", spotlighted cutting-edge fields like artificial intelligence, advanced computing, bio-manufacturing, and quantum technology, featuring over 20 meticulously curated activities.

  At the opening ceremony, Xiangjiang Laboratory unveiled five innovative products: the "Xiangjiang Smart Companion" embodied robot, the " Xiangjiang Creative Mind" AI content platform (integrating a cultural-creation AI editor and personalized smart radio), the "Xiangjiang Smart Brain" active mind-control rehabilitation glove, the "Xiangjiang Core Source" automated stem cell intelligent preparation system, and the "Xiangjiang Intelligent Manufacturing" process model-driven industrial robot. The opening ceremony also featured the Xiangjiang Laboratory-HUTB Sci-Tech Achievement Launch, the Baidu Autonomous Vehicle Donation Ceremony, and the Unveiling Ceremony for HUTB’s School of Intelligent Robotics.

  During the thematic report session of the "Future Technologies and Future Industry Innovation" academic symposium, scholars and entrepreneurs engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including "Key Applications of AI Large Models in the Oil & Gas Sector", "Drones Ushering in a New Era of Smart Transportation", and "Digital-Intelligent Innovation Driving New Power System Development".

  Chen Xiaohong, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Secretary of the CPC HUTB Committee, highlighted that Xiangjiang Laboratory, since its establishment two years ago, has cumulatively launched 24 products. Aligned with Hunan’s modern industrial system, national strategic priorities, and enterprise needs, it has forged an industrial pathway integrating R&D, practical application, and commercialization of achievements.
