Song Li, Secretary of Secretariat and Member of CPC Leading Group of ACWF, Leads Delegation to Conduct Research at Xiangjiang Laboratory

On April 19, Song Li, Secretary of the Secretariat and Member of the CPC Leading Group of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), conducted a research visit to Xiangjiang Laboratory, accompanied by Academician Chen Xiaohong, Secretary of the CPC HUTB Committee and Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory. The research delegation included Yang Lanying, Secretary of the CPC Leading Group and Chairperson of the Hunan Women's Federation; Liu Guoquan, Executive Deputy Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory; Zhang Ling, Vice President of HUTB; and Yang Chengying, Vice Chairperson of the Hunan Women's Federation.

Academician Chen Xiaohong presented the developmental achievements of Xiangjiang Laboratory. She emphasized that Xiangjiang Laboratory, as the first established among Hunan Province’s four major laboratories, has focused on artificial intelligence and advanced computing since its inception over two years ago. Guided by the "1456" strategic framework, it has built a "Four-in-One Computation" sci-tech innovation hub, launched a series of major research initiatives, and released 19 innovative technological products to the public. The lab has achieved outstanding results in securing national-level research projects, publishing high-impact papers, obtaining national invention patents, and commercializing technologies through industry contracts. Xiangjiang Laboratory has empowered HUTB in its integrated reform of institutional mechanisms for education, science and technology, and talent cultivation, achieving remarkable results.
Secretary Song Li and her delegation attentively reviewed the comprehensive development overview of Xiangjiang Laboratory and watched its advertising video. Secretary Song Li engaged in in-depth discussions with Academician Chen Xiaohong and frontline researchers on the "Women's Action for Scientific and Technological Innovation" initiative and the development of new quality productive forces in AI and advanced computing. She applauded Xiangjiang Laboratory’s intelligent transformation and digital transformation efforts, encouraging women scientists to leverage their unique strengths to accelerate the translation of technological achievements into public services, thereby advancing the holistic development of women and children.
