Heads of Overseas Students Associations and Representatives of International Young Scientific Talents Visit Xiangjiang Laboratory for Inspection

On July 2, a delegation of heads of overseas students associations and representatives of international young scientific talents, organized by the Department of Science and Technology of Hunan Province, visited the Xiangjiang Laboratory for inspection and exchange. The inspection was led by Zhang Ranlin, Director of the International Talent Exchange Center of the Department of Science and Technology of Hunan Province, and accompanied by Mo Xiangyi, Deputy Director of the Xiangjiang Laboratory and Vice President of HUTB. Personnel from the Department of Science and Technology of Hunan Province, the China International Talent Exchange Center, overseas student association scholars, and the Xiangjiang Laboratory participated in the event.
During the event, the inspection team visited the Xiangjiang Laboratory's achievements exhibition hall and related facilities in the Technology Building. They received presentations on the laboratory's construction progress, talent recruitment policies, and platforms for the growth of young talents, watched the laboratory's promotional video, and reviewed a series of scientific and technological theoretical works published in recent years by Academician Chen Xiaohong's team in fields such as new quality productive forces, artificial intelligence, and the digital economy. They also learned about the 24 innovative products labeled "Xiangjiang No. 1" to "Xiangjiang No. 24" released by the laboratory, as well as related applied research achievements in areas including AI pre-trained large models, bio-intelligent manufacturing, industrial digital twins, the metaverse, culture + technology, smart transportation, the low-altitude economy, smart energy, intelligent computing acceleration, and secure sharing of computational data. The team expressed unanimous affirmation and praise for the laboratory's strengths in technological innovation in the fields of artificial intelligence and advanced computing.
This event showcased the positive image and strong capabilities of the Xiangjiang Laboratory to overseas student association scholars and international young scientific talents, playing an active role in next-step talent recruitment and cultural dissemination efforts.
