Speaker’s Profile:
Yang Xiaolan is deputy dean and professor of the School of Business and Management, Shanghai International Studies University. Professor Yang was recognized as a Young Talent of the “Cultural Masters and Four-Batch Talents” for the promotion of ideology and culture by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee in 2020, and a Shanghai Leading Talent in 2021. She worked at the School of Economics of Zhejiang University from 2005 to 2017, and was an associate professor, doctoral supervisor and deputy dean of the Department of Finance. She conducted cooperative researches at Germany’s Clausthal UniversityofTechnology, George Mason University of the U.S. and National University of Singapore, focusing on the fields of behavioral finance, experimental economics and FinTech. She has led a number of scientific research projects in recent years, including the ones under the National Social Science Fund of China and the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She has published a number of papers in international and domestic top journals, including Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization and Economic Inquiry. She has published a number of papers in domestic CSSCI journals including Journal of Management World, Journal of Financial Research and The Journal of World Economy. Her publications include Behavioral Finance, Behavioral Economics and Experimental Economics. She is also a research fellow of the Academy of Financial Research at Zhejiang University and a reviewer for several journals, including The Journal of World Economy, China Economic Quarterly and Journal of Financial Research. She has won several ministerial and provincial-level awards, including the first prize in teaching achievement of Zhejiang Province and the second prize for Excellent Achievements in Philosophy and Social Sciences of Shanghai.
