Chen Xiaohong, CAE Academician, expert in management science and engineering, born in May 1963, CPC member, currently the Party Secretary of HUTB, Honorary Dean of Business School of Central South University, professor, doctoral supervisor, Member of the National Committee of CPPCC, Member of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Convener of Management Science and Engineering Discipline Evaluation Group of Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, Deputy Director of Management Department of Science and Technology Commission of Ministry of Education, Director of the National Center for Basic Science of National Natural Science Foundation of China, the head and chief professor of the national first-class key discipline "Management Science and Engineering", the Innovation Research Group of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the "Changjiang Scholars and Innovative Research Team" of the Ministry of Education, National Distinguished Young Scholar, the winner of Fudan Management Award for Outstanding Contribution and Guangzhao Science and Technology Award, national outstanding teacher and national "Woman Pace-setter".
Academician Chen Xiaohong has devoted herself to the researches in the fields of decision theory and decision support system, big data analysis and intelligent management, financing of small and medium-sized enterprises, two-oriented society and ecological civilization with the research results producing a great impact on academic circles at home and abroad; created the engineering management theory and method system of "integrated dynamic intelligent quantification", proposed a series of green engineering standards, such as two-oriented standards, put forward a new model of collaborative management of green engineering, developed the environmental big data analysis and decision-making technology and platform, making the outstanding contributions to the scientific development of national management and decision-making, efficient green development of resources and accurate environmental governance.
As the first person-in-charge, she has won 14 national, provincial and ministerial scientific research awards such as the Second Prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress, the First Prize of Outstanding Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, the First Prize of Science and Technology of Chinese Universities and the First Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of Hunan Province, and won 2 second prizes of national teaching achievements; published more than 380 academic papers in international and domestic authoritative journals, including more than 60 highly cited papers in the top 1% of ESI. From 2018 to 2020, she was selected as "Global Highly Cited Researchers" for three consecutive years. She has published 18 monographs, obtained 31 national invention patents and 22 software copyrights. Eight policy proposals submitted in 2019-2020 were adopted by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council, and received important instructions from the leaders of the Party and the state.
