Speaker’s Profile:
Zeng Xianlai, Ph.D. (postdoctoral researcher), associate professor of the School of Environment, Tsinghua University, mainly engaged in the research of resource and environmental sustainability, circular economy and waste management, published more than 100 papers/works/patents in journals such as Nature Communications, Science Chinaand Environmental Science & Technology, and presided over more than 20 national and international cooperation projects; listed in the Fulbright Visiting Fellow, top-notch young talents of national ecological environmental protection, and the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2019 by Stanford University; served as a visiting professor/scholar at Yale University, Macquarie University, Coventry University and Macau University, sub-editor of sub-journal of Nature, chief technical adviser of the Basel Convention Asia-Pacific Regional Center of UNEPand technical adviser of the United Nations Development Programme,as well as the deputy director of the regional professional Committee of China Ecological Economics Society, the secretary-general of the Circular Economy Branch of Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, and the expert member of Operations Research Society of China; won the first prize of Management Science Award and Environmental Technology Progress Award of China Management Science Society.
