The delegation participated in alumni events, visited alumni enterprises, and advanced the "Alumni Back to Hunan" initiative.

On the afternoon of April 11, while attending the "Lingnan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum" hosted by the Shenzhen Alumni Association, Academician Chen Xiaohong stated that under the leadership of alumni entrepreneur and President Wei Hongzhang, the Shenzhen Alumni Association has fully leveraged its geographical, talent, and industrial advantages to make sustained efforts in three key areas: strengthening alumni connections, fostering alumni collaboration, and supporting alumni growth; deepening university-enterprise cooperation, promoting the deep integration of industry, academia, research, and application, and advancing the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements; and mobilizing alumni resources to support Hunan's investment and talent recruitment efforts while giving back to Hunan's development. She remarked that Shenzhen alumni, embodying the "pioneering, innovative, and practical" attitude, have positioned themselves at the forefront of digital economy, integrated circuits, and artificial intelligence sectors, exemplifying the HUTB community's unwavering perseverance and distinctive identity.

Academician Chen Xiaohong emphasized that alumni serve as the "practical drivers" of Hunan's industrial revitalization, the "trailblazing vanguard" of technological innovation, and the "solid bridges" for investment and talent recruitment. She called upon Shenzhen-based alumni to actively respond to the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and the People’s Government of Hunan Province's initiatives, leveraging their resource advantages to "gather talents through the university and revitalize Hunan through talents," thereby making new and greater contributions to the high-quality development of both Hunan and their alma mater.

President Wei Hongzhang delivered an impassioned speech, pledging to build "three bridges" among alumni: first, a "technology + capital" conversion bridge to encourage alumni innovation and entrepreneurship and cultivate unicorn enterprises; second, a "university + enterprise" collaboration bridge to promote the translation and implementation of the alma mater's scientific research achievements in the Greater Bay Area; and third, a "Greater Bay Area + global" linkage bridge to assist alumni enterprises in expanding into international markets. He stated that the Shenzhen Alumni Association will actively respond to the call of the Hunan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the People's Government of Hunan Province, and alma mater by vigorously advancing the "Alumni Back to Hunan" and "Entrepreneurship Revitalizes Hunan" initiatives.
