On April 15, the university-level finals of the "Gold Seed Cup" College Student Entrepreneurship Competition were held at Room N101 of the Innovation and Media Center in Lingnan Campus. The CPC HUTB Committee attaches high importance to college student entrepreneurship initiatives and has provided strategic guidance for the competition's organization and planning. The competition attracted active participation from faculty and students across all secondary schools of the university, aiming to select outstanding entrepreneurial projects and prepare high-quality candidates for the provincial "Golde Seed Cup" College Student Entrepreneurship Competition. Yang Liangqi, a member of the CPC HUTB Committee and Vice President of HUTB, attended the event.

Through rigorous recommendations from all secondary schools, numerous outstanding entrepreneurial projects spanning cutting-edge fields such as new energy, artificial intelligence, and intelligent detection emerged to advance to the university-level finals. At the finals, shortlisted project teams delivered stellar roadshow presentations, covering project introductions, product demonstrations, market analyses, business models, and financial planning—all while showcasing robust expertise and exceptional business acumen during the intensive 4-minute Q&A sessions. The competition assembled a judging panel of six renowned industry experts and investment firm representatives, who evaluated participating teams across multiple dimensions. Based on roadshow performances and Q&A sessions—and in strict accordance with official judging criteria—they conducted live scoring, ultimately awarding four first-place, six second-place, and ten third-place prizes at the university level.
Among them, four projects—"Lightning Pool: High-Safety, Long-Range Next-Gen Solid-State Battery Game-Changer," "Xiangzhi Ambition: AI Exoskeleton Leader & 4 × 4 Industrial Ecosystem Builder," "Emotion Lens: Intelligent Detection Device Based on Multimodal Affective Recognition," and "Hongtong Tech: Agent-Based Multimodal Wafer Defect Detection System"—won first prize in the university competition for their outstanding innovation and market potential.
