HUTB Students Win the Championship and Runner-up in National Business Elite Challenge of Universities and Colleges

Recently, the final of cross-border e-commerce track of International Trade Competition of National Business Elite Challenge of Universities and Colleges 2022 came to an end, and the student team of HUTB won the championship and runner-up in the national finals. In this year's competition, the student team of HUTB lived up to expectations and won 8 first prizes, 10 second prizes and 2 third prizes in national competition. Three teams successfully advanced into the National Top 50 Elite Competition and finally won the championship and runner-up in the national finals of cross-border e-commerce track. 

International Trade Competition of National Business Elite Challenge of Universities and Colleges is one of the 56 discipline competitions recognized by the Ministry of Education. The cross-border e-commerce track of International Trade Competition of National Business Elite Challenge of Universities and Colleges is co-sponsored by the Business Industry Committee of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the Business Industry Chamber of China Chamber of International Commerce and the Commerce Economy Association of China. More than 1,000 teams from more than 300 universities and colleges in more than 20 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government signed up for the competition. After selection at different levels, 50 teams were finally shortlisted for the National Finals - Elite Competition. The jury of Elite Competition is composed of Zhang Jian, Vice President of Shenzhen Evat Master Technology Co., Ltd., Hou Jianchen, Vice President of Digital Trade Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (Dunhuang Net), Liu Yazhuo, Director of Asia-Pacific Seller Training of Amazon (Shanghai) International Trade Co., Ltd., Fei Qinqin, Director of Cross-border Commerce of Shenzhen Lazada Trading Co., Ltd. (Ali Group Lazada) and other industry experts. The competition aims to build a high-level platform for universities and colleges to exchange and learn, and promote professional development and talents training innovation in cross-border electronic commerce.

Through this competition, not only the theoretical knowledge and skills of cross-border e-commerce of our students have been improved, but also the influence of "new business" talent training in the university has been further expanded. (Reported by Hou Xiangqun from School of Economy & Trade)
