Since the launch of this exhibition in March, the university leadership has attached great importance to it. Academician Chen Xiaohong, Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee, has repeatedly listened to reports on the preparation progress and provided guidance on the competition. The HUTB Youth League Committee promptly organized a special coordination meeting to formulate a work plan. The Academic Affairs Division and relevant secondary schools have actively prepared and coordinated the overall planning. Professional teachers have provided careful guidance, and participating students and teachers have given up their holiday breaks to train hard and prepare for the competition. Strict selection and recommendation of outstanding works to participate in provincial-level exhibitions have fully showed the artistic charm and positive spirit of the students and teachers at HUTB.

The Hunan College Student Art Exhibition is currently the highest-level, largest-scale, and most influential art practice activity for college students in our province. It has received great attention from major universities. The theme of this exhibition is “cultivate patriotism and nurture enterprising character.” Our university actively promotes the spirit of Chinese aesthetic education, adheres to the “aesthetic education” pattern of nurturing individuals through aesthetics, beautifying individuals through aesthetics, and cultivating talents through aesthetics. It guides students to polish their works with a craftsman spirit, use poetic language to express their love and dedication to art, continuously build an artistic and cultural HUTB, and create high-quality, high-level aesthetic education works in the fields of art and humanities. It aims to create a refined and rich cultural and artistic atmosphere on campus. (Reported by Cao Chen from Youth League Committee)
