HUTB Holds 2023 Annual Assessment Meeting for Party Building Work of Secondary CPC Organizations and Target Management of Secondary Units

On January 17, the university held the 2023 annual assessment and evaluation meeting for the party building work of secondary CPC organizations and the target management of secondary units at the Xiangjiang Lecture Hall. Chen Xiaohong, Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee, Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory, and CAE Academician, and Liao Xiangyue, Deputy Secretary of CPC HUTB Committee and President of HUTB, along with other Chief Leaders and CPC HUTB Committee members attended the conference. All full-time division-level cadres of the university, representatives of party congresses at all levels, deputies to the NPC, CPPCC members, chairpersons of democratic parties, representatives of the faculty congress, and others attended. The meeting was chaired by He Longde, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of HUTB.

At the meeting, each secondary CPC organization and secondary unit summarized and reported on the achievements in party building and operational work over the past year. They focused on high-quality party building leading development, the results of thematic education, the completion of annual KPI indicators, work characteristics and highlights, existing problems and deficiencies, as well as future development plans. By showcasing achievements, identifying shortcomings, highlighting targets, and discussing strategies, they fully displayed the work performance of 2023 and looked forward with full confidence to the work arrangements for 2024.

All the secondary CPC organization and secondary units expressed that under the strong leadership of CPC HUTB Committee, remarkable achievements have been made in all aspects of work in 2023. In the new year, they will continue to promote the spirit of "daring to innovate and strive hard," work diligently without regrets, and strive without reservation. They aim to make new and greater contributions to the university's realization of the strategic goal of "Three Advances and Three Highs" and the construction of a distinctive innovative first-class university of technology and business.

Finally, under the supervision of the scrutineers, the participants conducted on-site evaluations of the party building work of each secondary CPC organization and the target management assessment of secondary units.
