HUTB Holds “Power of Role Models” Experience-sharing Session for Recipients of National Scholarship

On December 6 and 13, the university organized a “Power of Role Models” experience-sharing session for recipients of the national scholarship at the north and south campuses. More than 1,000 staff members from the Student Affairs Division and students from various schools attended the conference.
The sharing session invited three recipients of the national scholarship for the 2022-2023 academic year, namely Hou Zhiqiang from the Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies, Dai Junpeng from the School of Microelectronics and Physics, and Zhang Yutong from the School of Business Administration. They shared their insights and experiences during their university years from various aspects such as learning methods, cultivating habits, student affairs, academic competitions, and life planning, based on their own learning and practical experiences. These outstanding students emphasized the importance of setting clear goals, cherishing study time, and consolidating professional foundations during their university years through their personal experiences. They suggested that everyone should strive to strike a balance between academic studies and student leadership responsibilities, giving their all in both aspects. During the interactive session, the three students provided specific advice in response to questions from their junior peers. They encouraged everyone to actively participate in various academic competitions, manage their time effectively, and plan their career paths wisely.
The experience-sharing session for scholarship recipients provided a platform for students at our university to communicate, share, and learn from each other's growth experiences. It helped students better plan their learning directions and created a strong atmosphere for studying. Students expressed that they gained insights into various learning methods and practical advice during the sharing session.
