HUTB Hosts Health and Wellness Campus Hike for Faculty and Staff

To further enrich campus life and foster a vibrant and wholesome campus atmosphere, the university hosted a “Striving for Excellence and Embracing the New Journey” campus hiking event for faculty and staff on the afternoon of June 4th at the north and south campuses simultaneously. Yi Mianyang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC HUTB Committee and Chair of the Labour Union, was in attendance. The event attracted over 100 members of the University Faculty and Staff Running Association and over 600 faculty and staff members.

At the beginning of the event, Coach Chen Wei of the Running Association led everyone in the warm-up exercise, ensuring that the participants were fully prepared. Meanwhile, the chief referee explained the details of the event and the precautions to take. As the starting pistol cracked through the air, the event officially kicked off.

Despite the drizzle on the day of the event, the participating faculty and staff were brimming with enthusiasm. They cheered each other on, helped each other out, and showed great team spirit and a can-do attitude. During the hike, the teachers were able to appreciate the stunning campus view while enjoying the physical activity. The trails were punctuated with intermittent bursts of laughter, evoking a sense of happiness and delight.
