Labour Union Organizes “Cooling Relief” Comfort Activities

In line with the notices from the Hunan Federation of Trade Unions and the Hunan Teacher’s Union, and to effectively protect workers' labor safety and health rights during the intense summer heat, the Labour Union held the "Labour Union Delivers Cooling Relief, Preventing Heatstroke and Ensuring Health” comfort activities on the afternoon of July 26. Gan Dejian, Member of the CPC HUTB Committee and Vice President of HUTB, participated in the event, leading a team to visit and offer support to frontline workers enduring the high temperatures.

During the event, the visiting group visited the Logistics Management Service Center, the Security Division, the Capital Construction Division, and other departments, expressing high respect and sincere gratitude for the staff's hard work and selfless dedication. At each location, they inquired about the staff's work and health conditions, provided heat-relief supplies, and advised them to balance work and rest, manage their schedules properly, and ensure their health and safety in the high temperatures.

The cooling items and warm words made the staff feel deeply valued. Everyone expressed their commitment to turning the university's thoughtful care into motivation for their work.
