Party Secretary of China Three Gorges University and Delegation Visit and Conduct Research at Xiangjiang Laboratory

On the afternoon of November 18, He Junwei, Secretary of the CPC Committee of China Three Gorges University, and Zhao Xu, Member of the CPC Committee of China Three Gorges University, visited Xiangjiang Laboratory for an inspection and research tour. Liu Guoquan, Executive Deputy Director of Xiangjiang Laboratory, accompanied the delegation, along with relevant department heads.

In the scientific research achievements exhibition hall of Xiangjiang Laboratory, the research team listened to an introduction of the laboratory's basic overview and construction progress, watched its promotional video, reviewed a series of scientific and theoretical works written and published in recent years by Academician Chen Xiaohong's team, learned about 26 innovative products released by the laboratory in fields such as AI pre-trained large models, embodied (humanoid) intelligent robots, bio-intelligent manufacturing, industrial digital twins, the metaverse, culture + technology, intelligent transportation, and the low-altitude economy, and gained an understanding of the construction of scientific research teams, achievements in technological innovation, experimental and practical teaching, and the application of results transformation. At the Embodied Intelligence (Humanoid) Robot Innovation Center and the Intelligent Logistics Laboratory, the research team conducted on-site investigations into the application of scientific research achievements and the construction of innovation platforms, among other aspects, and spoke highly of the construction outcomes and innovative achievements of Xiangjiang Laboratory.
