March Rush for Lei Feng Spirit on Campus

On March 5, the university held the "2024 Launch Ceremony of Learn from Lei Feng Campaign and Concentrated Exhibition of Volunteer Service Projects" at the Starry Square. The event aimed to deeply study General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on promoting the spirit of Lei Feng, to profoundly grasp the contemporary significance of Lei Feng spirit, and to promote the widespread influence of the Lei Feng spirit.
The event received wide response and active participation from the secondary schools. Each school showcased its volunteer service projects based on its own academic strengths and volunteer service content, such as the "2+3 ‘Intelligent' Companion Volunteer Service Activity" from the School of Intelligent Engineering and Manufacturing, the "Building Dreams with Language Wings, Reaching the Peak with Light" from the School of Foreign Languages, and the "Music for You" art volunteer service brand project from the School of Music. The projects were displayed in various forms and covered diverse fields, showcasing the professionalism and innovative achievements of youth volunteer services at our university.
The HUTB Youth League Committee will gradually launch a series of Lei Feng Month volunteer service activities both on and off campus, starting from the volunteer service teams on campus to the public welfare project groups outside the campus. Activities such as "In March, the warmth of Lei ‘Feng' touches hearts - Remembering the Spirit of Lei Feng" and "Lei Feng in Our Hearts - Positive Energy Always Stays" will be conducted on campus. Collaborating with communities outside the campus, activities like "Skillful Hands Creating Beauty - Making Lei Feng Fans" and "Love for the Elderly, Affection towards the Sunset" will be organized. These efforts aim to continuously expand the regions, fields, and audience of volunteer services, fostering a positive atmosphere of "Learning from Lei Feng in Lei Feng's Hometown, and Contribute to Lei Feng with Youth Power".
This concentrated exhibition marks the beginning of this year's “Learn from Lei Feng” activities among college students at our university. In the future, they will continue to inherit and promote the spirit of volunteer service through practical actions, telling inspiring Lei Feng stories in the new era. They will strive to integrate volunteer service into their daily lives, making it a regular practice, and continuously radiating the driving effect of the Lei Feng spirit.
