HUTB Military Service Association's Work Wins First Prize in the "Guo Fang Wan Ying" Public Welfare Movie Exhibition

Recently, the list of award-winning entries for the 2023 online solicitation of works for the "Guo Fang Wan Ying" large-scale film screening event, sponsored by the Publicity and Education Bureau of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, and the Political Work Bureau of the National Defense Mobilization Department of the Central Military Commission, and hosted by the China Film Foundation, has been announced. HUTB Military Service Association’s short video "Devote Youth to the Party, Offer Dream to Xuanyuan" won the first prize, and the “2023 Promotional Video of Instructors Team of HUTB" won the second prize. The China Film Foundation commended and awarded certificates of honor for these achievements.
Since its launch in 2009, the "National Defense Education for All People Film Screening Plan" (referred to as "Guo Fan Wan Ying") has selected a total of 265 outstanding domestic defense and military-themed films for public screening. It has organized 180,000 screenings, with a total audience of 200 million people. By screening excellent films related to national defense, the initiative aims to guide the public in understanding national defense, enhancing awareness of national defense, promoting patriotism, and strengthening national security awareness.
The competition entry, produced by our university's Military Service Association, took nearly a month to collect materials and almost two months for post-production. With a unique perspective and deep insight, they integrated military life with university life, revealing the transformation of an instructor from an ordinary college student to a mature individual. This work fully showcases the positive spirit of our university's instructor team, setting an excellent example for students.
This award fully reflects the strong leadership of CPC HUTB Committee and its emphasis on national defense education. It showcases the patriotism of our students and their close connection between their own ideals and the future of our country, as well as their personal lives and the destiny of our nation.
