HUTB Awarded Title of "Excellent Unit" in Online Government Affairs Openness and Service Work of Hunan Provincial Education System

Recently, the Department of Education of Hunan Province issued the Notice on the Progress of Online Government Affairs Openness and Service Work of Hunan Provincial Education System in 2023. Our university was awarded the title of "Excellent Unit," marking the second time our university has received this honor. Teacher Xiao Hongyan was recognized as an "Excellent Individual."
The university has always attached great importance to online government affairs openness and service work, considering it as an effective means to strengthen democratic supervision, improve management level and service quality, and promote the development of the university. At the same time, the university, in conjunction with themed education, is actively promoting the "Do Practical Things for Teachers and Students" practical activities. Through system improvement, responsibility clarification, timely disclosure, active interaction, innovative methods, and advancement of the construction of service platforms, the university is wholeheartedly and diligently promoting government transparency. Efforts are being made to address the pressing concerns and difficulties of teachers, students, and the general public, continuously enhancing governance capabilities and levels. The university is also making continuous progress in online government transparency and government service work, taking it to new heights.
The relevant departments of the university will take this award as an opportunity to further enhance their political position and ideological understanding. Based on benchmarking the various construction requirements for government transparency and government services set by superior departments, they will promptly summarize experiences, continuously improve work capabilities, and constantly enhance service levels. The goal is to effectively promote government transparency and government service work with high quality, contributing to the construction of an innovative and first-class university of technology and business.
