1949 witnessed the establishment of Hunan University of Commerce (HNUC), which locates in the historical and cultural city of Changsha, Hunan Province. With Yuelu Mountain in the south and Xiang River in the east, the university owns a convenient location and pleasant environment. Hunan University of Commerce is a provincial university with bachelor and master majors covering an area of economics, management, law, literature, science and engineering, liberal arts. It is appraised as one of the best universities in the Undergraduate Teaching Quality Evaluation Program by the Ministry of Education. Our university owns a large number of outstanding talents, which contains winner of “The National Science Fund for Distinguish Young Scholars”, leading talents of “National High-level Talent Special Supporting Plan” and so on. The university has 14 schools, 60 research institutes and 49 undergraduate majors. Over 21,000 students study and live on the campus. It has been authorized to confer 4 first-level discipline master degrees, and 2 professional master degrees. Hunan University of Commerce also enjoys a number of provincial discipline construction platforms, such as provincial key discipline, the provincial 2011 collaborative innovation center, the provincial key laboratories, and the provincial social science research base.

2. Introduction Way and Benefits
1) Full-time work at HNUC as a staff of government-afflicted institution or signing contract.
2) For academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences/Chinese Academy of Engineering, A-level selectee of “Overseas High-level Talent Introduction Plan ”, outstanding talent selectee of “National High-level Talent Special Supporting Plan”, salary and benefits can be discussed on a face-to-face basis.
3) For specially-appointed or visiting professor of “ The Yangtze River Scholars”, winner of “The National Science Fund for Distinguish Young Scholars”, leading talent selectee of “National High-level Talent Special Supporting Plan”, selectee of “Overseas High-level Talent Introduction Plan”, national-level selectee of “Three Types of High-level Talent Introduction Plan”, chief scientist of “National Basic Research Program of China(973 Program)” , selectee of “Hundred Talent Introduction Plan by Chinese Academy of Sciences”, an annual salary of 1million to 2 millions, housing allowance of 0.8million-1.5 million/person shall be provided by HNUC.
4) For chief young scientist of “National Basic Research Program of China(973 Program)” , young outstanding talent selectee of “National High-level Talent Special Supporting Plan”, “The Youth Yangtze River Scholars”, selectee of “Young Overseas High-level Talents Introduction Plan”, winner of “The National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars”, “Furong Scholars”, an annual salary of 450,000-800,000, housing allowance of 0.6million/person shall be provided by HNUC.
5) For professor (or equivalent position )worked in universities or research agencies at home or abroad, salary and benefits can be discussed on a face-to face basis.
6) In light of discipline development, HNUC shall provide relevant start-up research funds (the sum can be negotiated), temporary accommodation, research space, and give assistance for spouse employment and children enrollment.
7) Above-mentioned benefits don’t include the benefit provided by national or provincial government.
8) The potential applicants can apply for “HNUC 151 Talents Program”, the selectee shall enjoy the relevant treatment.

2. Employment Requirements
1) For doctoral applicant, at least two degrees relate to the employment discipline, at least one degree is granted by universities of 211/985 Project, and the doctoral degree must relate to the employment discipline. The applicant’ s first academic degree must be Bachelor’s degree. The applicant must meet the rules of HNUC new employee academic performance assessment.
2) Priority shall be given to the talent with oversea study or working experience.
3) Applicant with PhD shall be younger than 35, professor shall be younger than 45, associate professor shall be younger than 40, applicant with Master degree shall be younger than 32.
4) Applicant with Master degree can apply for the position working as a non-staff of government affiliated institution, however, his/her two degrees must relate to employment discipline and be granted by universities of 211/985 Project.
5) Extraordinary outstanding talent can be employed with lower requirements after approval by HNUC.
3. Salary and Benefits
1) Work as a staff of government afflicted institution
A. Salary shall be provided on the position basis.
B. Allowance shall be provided according to HNUC 2016 No.4 document. For Accounting and Finance, extra allowance of 50,000/person shall be provided.
2) Signing contract with HNUC and receiving annual salary
sign a 6-year contract with HNUC on the basis of scientific research task. In the light of task, salary higher than staff of government afflicted institution shall be provided. After expiration of contract, he/she can transfer as a staff of government afflicted institution on the basis of assessment and bidirectional selection.
III. Procedures
1. Applicants log in the online resume system on Personnel Department HNUC website, fill HNUC Teacher and Scientific Research Staff Employment Registration Form, and upload to online system.
2. Send electronic version of following documents to us by E-mail(relevant E-mail address can be found on above plan form): Identity card, degree certificate(from the first academic degree), professional title certificate , scientific research achievement/prize certificate.
3. All documents must be authentic, the applicant providing false document shall be disqualifiedde.
