HUTB Holds “Alumni-Students Dialogue”

The Alumni Office and the Youth League Committee of HUTB jointly held the "Alumni-Students Dialogue" on the afternoon of December 21 in Qiushi Academy of the Economic Management Complex. More than 150 students, leaders and teachers of the Alumni Work Office and the Youth League Committee attended the event.

Liu Yun, who is Party Secretary and General Manager of No.5 Company of China Railway No.5 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. and a 1995 alumnus of the business administration major, and Li Ting, who is Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy General Manager of Wasion Group Co., Ltd. and a 2004 alumnus of the international economics and trade major, attended the event. Li Ting shared her experience in human resources management over the years in the five aspects of morality, intelligence, physique, aesthetics and hardworking spirit. She also gave suggestions on study and career development to the students. Liu Yun shared his professional experience in the past 26 years in four aspects, including work attitude, grassroots work, training on the post and ambition. He wished all students to be honest, kind, optimistic and disciplined. The two alumni also discussed with the students the topics in which they were interested, such as quality development, professional study and professional ability improvement.

The “Alumni-Students Dialogue” is a platform and an important step for HUTB to further integrate alumni resources to serve the talent cultivation of the university. The activity will be held on a regular basis in various forms. (Reported by Alumni Office)
