On the afternoon of December 3, a symposium was held by the HUTB Committee of the China Democratic League in Conference Room 315 in Technology Building to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, and study and deploy the next step to study and implement the spirit of the Plenary Session, and was attended by the Chief Leader Nie Guoqing of HUTB, and presided over by Liu Daobo, chairman of HUTB Committee of the China Democratic League. All members participated in the study.

The spirits of the Communique of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee and the Resolution of the CPC Central Committee on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party over the Past Centurywere conveyed and studied in the meeting.

It was pointed out in the meeting that the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee is a meeting of great historical significance held at an important historical moment of the centenary of the founding of CPC and a major historical juncture when CPC and the people successfully achieved the goal of the first century, built a well-off society in an all-round way, and are moving towards the goal of the second century of building a socialist modern power.

It was emphasized in the meeting that we shall take studying and implementing the spirit of the Plenary Session as the primary political task, all members shall keep in mind the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech, adhere to the basic theory, basic line and basic strategy of CPC, strengthen the "four consciousnesses", insist on "four self-confidences", achieve the "two maintenance", adhere to the system concept, and promote the overall layout of the "five in one" and the "four comprehensive" strategic layout in a coordinated manner.

Chief Leader Nie Guoqing made a concluding speech. He pointed out that the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee indicated the development direction for us, and provided new ideas and new impetus; all members shall thoroughly study and fully understand the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, enhance the political position, actively perform their duties, lead the future works with the spirit of the plenary session, accelerate and forge ahead with a high sense of responsibility and mission, and contribute greater wisdom and strength to realize the strategic goal of "Three Upgrades and Three Highlands" and build an innovative first-class technology and business university with distinctive characteristics.
