Teachers and Students from School of Law & Public Administration Participate in the "Constitution Publicity Week" in Yuelu District

In order to thoroughly study and publicize Xi Jinping's thought of ruling by law, vigorously carry forward the spirit of the Constitution, safeguard the authority of the Constitution, and contribute to the construction of Changsha as a national civilized model city, teachers and students from the School of Law & Public Administration attended the launching ceremony of "Constitution Publicity Week 2021" and the series of legal popularization activities of creating the ruling-by-law society in Yuelu District sponsored by the Propaganda Department of Yuelu District Committee (Civilization Office) at Yuyuan Square, Lianfeng Village, Xueshi Street, Changsha, on the afternoon of November 30. This event was led by the teachers from the School of Law & Public Administration and attended by members of the Recitation Team of the Starlight Art Troupe and volunteers from the ruling-by-law alliance jointed established by district and university.

At the launching ceremony, the live promotional film of students from the School of Law & Public Administration popularizing the law in HUTB was first broadcast. Subsequently, the students from the school performed the publicity program Lightin the form of collective recitation. Lighttells the real case of "left-behind girls", which gives a strong shock to the people on the spot. The program warns the masses to strengthen their understanding of the law and raise their awareness of danger prevention, especially the left-behind children and the elderly. Then, the students of the school performed the promotion song We are Always Onlineto prevent the telecom fraud. Through easy-to-understand lyrics and easy-to-remember melodies, the song publicizes the anti-fraud knowledge in a popular way, which makes people show empathy while ensuring the wonderful programs, and plays a subtle educational effect.

Based on this event, not only the enthusiasm and initiative of community residents to participate in the construction of the ruling by law were improved, but also the concept of the ruling by law and legal awareness were enhanced, and a strong publicity atmosphere of the ruling by law was created. The distance between the School of Law & Public Administration and community residents was narrowed, and the awareness and concept of the ruling by law on the part of community residents were further enhanced. Therefore, this event was unanimously recognized by the residents.
