2021-11-29
For the purpose of carrying forward the spirit of ruling by law, strengthening the awareness of ruling by law on the part of people, and improving the legal literacy, School of Law & Public Administration organized teachers and students on the evening of November 18 to carry out voluntary service of "Popularizing Law in Community" in Wangxin Community, Yuelu District, Changsha City. This event was led by Xu Dan, Secretaryof Administrative CPCBranch of School of Law & Public Administration, and Zhang Guohui, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of School of Law & Public Administration, and attended by members of the Volunteer Team of "Legal Clinics", Civilization Literacy Team and the Recitation Team of Starlight Art Troupe.

During the event, student volunteers performed the publicity program Lightof the rule of law in the form of recitation. Combining financial fraud and explosion of battery cars due to illegal charging, the program preached the knowledge of financial anti-fraud and necessary laws and regulations in daily life in a popular form. The fusion of feelings with the natural scenes and the warning education aroused strong resonance among the audience. Residents have said that the event is novel and impressive, and will further enhance the awareness of prevention in the future.
Through this event, it not only enhances the concept of ruling by law and legal awareness on the part of community residents, but also narrows the distance between the School of Law & Public Administration and the community residents, further boosting the law popularization and deepening the activities of doing practical things for the masses.
