First Concert of "Melody of Chord"

On the evening of November 17, the first concert of "Melody of Chord" as part of a series of activities in the first music season of HUTB, jointly sponsored by the Party Committee Publicity Department, the Youth League Committee and the Schoolof Music, was held in the lobby on the first floor of Chufeng Academy. Xiao Ming, Dean of Schoolof Music, served as the music director. Teachers and students of HUTB appreciated this music event together.

The concert kicked off in the ensemble Greetings of Loveby Zhang Shuang and Liao Zezhong where the piano and violin were perfectly integrated with the affectionate and gentle melody; the solos Ordinary Friendsand Red Beanby Liu Fan were affectionate, and the audience echoed softly; the ensembles Schumann Fantasyand Monty CZARDASby Yang Yuxuan and Liao Zezhong sounded like poems and dreams, winding, dynamically, or deep, heavyhearted and euphemistic; Peng Yangyang played a Yaoshan Night Paintingwith the Chinese dulcimer in which Yao people sang and danced and praised the beautiful nature; Liu Shiqing played the Millennium ancient musical instrument Chinese reed pipe, and a song Phoenix Spreading Wingsvividly depicted the beautiful posture of the phoenix; Liao Zezhong took the stage three times, with a violin stretching the bright, warm, beautiful and smooth emotion of Tarantella; Rachmaninoff Preludeswung the ripples in the interaction between Yang Bin and piano, and the rich Russian customs were reflected in the mellow and loud notes.

First suite of Perkintjointly played by teachers Song Yang and Tao Lianlin filed into the audience's reverie like the vivid oil paintings. After a song was played, applause thundered, pushing the concert to a climax. Teacher Song Yang once again played Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2, which is humorous, fluent, majestic and passionate, like a passionate hymn.

Luo Dingding, Qiu Chaoyang, Wang Shixuan and Yang Piao played the musical interlude MICMACS ALA GAREand MOIDIN MOIDINcomposed of piano, cello and accordion. Different musical instruments merged, and the dynamic music told the story, giving the endless aftertaste. The finale accompaniment MOJITOmade its debut under the performance of Yang Piao, Qiu Ao, Lei Jun and Dong Haoyun. The fashionable and cheerful exotic customs made the audience feel like they were in the charming tropical scenery.
