Landscape Painting Exhibition by Professor Lv Jie of School of Design and Art Kicks Off

On the morning of Oct.16, the exhibition of Landscape Sketching Oil Paintings by Professor LvJie of the School of Design and Art opened in the Creative Corridor. HUTB's Vice PresidentZeng Fuqiu and Liu Guoquan, Director Hou Yanfeng of former Xinhua News Agency Hunan Branch, Professor Jiang Songrong of Hunan Normal University Academy of Fine Arts, Hunan Daily Editor and Reviewer Chi Meihua attended the opening ceremony, and Wu Can, Dean of School of Design and Art, and Deputy Dean Tang Zhaohui, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Yang Jia, Professor Liu Zhaoming and Professor Liu Yongdong from peer colleges and teachers and students of HUTBattended. The ceremony was presided over by Tang Zhaohui, Deputy Dean of School of Design and Art.

At the ceremony, Vice PresidentLiu Guoquan first delivered a speech on behalf of HUTB. He fully affirmed Professor Lv's painting and painting teaching achievements, and believed that Professor Lv's art has achieved today's gratifying results by overcoming all difficulties with diligence and perseverance. I also hope that the teachers, students and alumni of Hunan University of Technology and Business will enjoy prosperity, show their splendor, and excel in all walks of life. Professor Jiang Songrong expressed his concern and appreciation for Professor Lv’s artistic works. He held the view that Professor Lyu is diligent, hardworking and serious. In the pursuit of art, Professor Lv's works all express his thoughts on Oil Painting Sketch. He considered that Professor Lvcan effectively integrate sketching and creation, and his works are also very profound and individual.

Professor LvJie expressed his heartfelt thanks to the coming of all the leaders and guests. He narrated his arduous and bitter painting process. Despite the hardships, he still forged ahead for art with enthusiasm, and he is still full of sincerity and excitement when doing his works. The exhibition was successfully held with the support of all parties. Professor Lvexpressed that he will continue to work hard to create better works and give back to our society, communicate with and express emotions through painting.

Finally, Vice PresidentZeng Fuqiu announced the official opening of the exhibition, and the guests attended jointly inaugurate for the opening ceremony. After the ceremony, all leaders, guests, teachers and students entered the venue to watch the works.

During this exhibition, over one hundred landscape oil paintings of Professor LvJie in the past five years were exhibited, which were placed around the Creative Corridor. Various works are very beautiful and expressive in various forms. It outlines the beautiful landscape with floating clouds and flowing water in the paintings, It uses different colors to show the life of all things in the world and presents a visual feast in the world of oil paintings for the viewer, which makes people truly feel Professor LvJie's pursuit and thinking of art.
