School of Law and Public Management Organized the Students To Watch the Civil Code Public Class

On the afternoon of Oct. 13, School of Law and Public Management organized all the faculty and staff in the Conference Room 302 of the No. 2 Office Building to study and watch the video of theCivil Codepublic class.

The three open lectures can be divided into Chinese Characteristics, Practice Features and Characteristics of The Times in Civil Codelectured by Wang Liming, Executive Vice President of Renmin University of China and Chairman of the Civil Law Research Association of the China Law Society;Several Main Issues Regarding the Civil Codelectured by Liu Junchen, Deputy Director of the Legal Work Committee of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress;and Several Issues Closely Related to the Civil Code and Social Lifelectured by Liu Guixiang, a full-time member of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People's Court. The three experts, from different perspectives, authoritatively interpreted the significance and rich connotation of the Civil Code, and profoundly explained the core essence and key issues of the Civil Code.

By watching and studying the Civil Codepublic class, all faculty members have further understood and mastered the great significance of the Civil Code, and expressed that they will continue to further learning about the Civil Code, continuously enhance their political positions and legal awareness, enrich theoretical knowledge, and focus on connection with practice. Actively cultivate the capacity of applying the rule of law thinking and the rule of law method, and use practical actions to take the initiative in learning, understanding, observing and using the law.
