School of Foreign Languages Holds Special Meeting to Study Third Volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China

On the afternoon of September 22, the Faculty Party Branch of the School of Foreign Languages organized all Party members to collectively study relevant contents of the third volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of Chinain Room 209 of No.1Office Building.

The thematic study was led by Du Shenzhong, Party Secretary-General of the school. The subject wasTopic Six: Precious Experience Accumulated in 40 Years of Reform and Opening upin the third volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China. After reading the original text, Mr. Du talked about his feelings based on his own learning. He emphasized that the third volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of Chinais an important component ofXi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the latest achievement in the Chinization of Marxism, and the crystallization of the collective wisdom of the Communist Partyof China. As General Secretary Xi put in the article, "The precious experience accumulated in the past 40 years of reform and opening up is the valuable spiritual wealth of the Party and the people. It is of great guiding significance for us to adhere to and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era. So, such experience must be cherished and applied to practices for continuous enrichment and development.” Mr. Du required that all Party members should now deeply study Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and especially the third volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China, and that all Party members should read the original text, thoroughlyunderstand the principles, and apply these learning results into teaching, scientific research, student management and other aspects, to fully advance the school’s work with new ideas.
