Freshmen Military Training in School of Economy & Trade Goes on Smoothly
2020-09-24
In September, as the school opened, the arrival of the 2020 freshmen soon made the campus full of vitality and enthusiasm. Before they adapted to the new environment and got familiar with new classmates, their first compulsory course, “Military Training”, had already begun.

The cloudy and drizzly days have made it somewhat difficult for the freshmen to take military training. Nevertheless, under the instructors’ kind care and strict training, the freshmen have mastered quick marches, parade steps, dismissing, falling in, march-past and other items in just a few days.
During the short break, led by the instructors, the freshmen sang out a military song. “Go forward, forward! Our team marches toward the sun, toward the final victory, and toward the liberation of the whole country!” Their majestic and vigorous singing showed their youth and vitality.
Every day when the military training ended, the instructors’ command of “dismiss” and the freshmen’s strong shout resounded throughout the training ground. It is believed that the military training will benefit the freshmen a lot, inspiring them to say goodbye to the past, to get well prepared for embarking on a new journey at a higher starting point, and to grow into qualified college students in the new era.
