School of Computer Science & Information Engineering and Research Institute of Big Data and Internet Innovation Intensively Study Third Volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China

On September 14, the division-level cadres of the School of Computer Science & Information Engineering and the Research Institute of Big Data and Internet Innovation intensively held a meeting to study and discuss the third volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of Chinain the Conference Room 320 of No.1Office Building.

 


At the meeting, Yu Shaoqian, Party Secretary-General of the school led the study of the technology and innovation contents in Xi Jinping: The Governance of Chinaand shared his thoughts. He put forward that Party cadres and members must act as vanguards to optimize the allocation of scientific and technological resources and actively promote scientific and technological innovation. He also urged that Party cadres and teachers should work hard to improve the quality of teaching and talent training. Ren Zhi, Vice Party Secretary-General of the school, talked about his thoughts from the three aspects of improving learning efficiency, raising awareness, and enhancing practical abilities. He said that Party cadres and members should keep studying Xi Jinping: The Governance of Chinain a comprehensive, systematic and in-depth manner and should closely integrate the contents with the ideological and political education. Vice Dean He Dian expressed his thoughts from three aspects, saying that he will strengthen the learning effect and apply what he has learned into practical teaching and management. Vice Dean Xiong Shuchu shared his opinions from four aspects, noting that efforts should be made to instruct the faculty and staff to continuously improve their political accomplishment and stance and to resist corruption. Vice Dean Li Xiaolong indicated that this study has strengthened his understanding of scientific research management. He also gave instructive suggestions on developing the work style. Vice Dean Liu Limei stated that Party cadres and members should take the lead in studying Xi Jinping: The Governance of Chinaand assume the responsibility of organizing and promoting the study and implementation. Vice Dean Ren Jian pointed out that efforts should be made to keep learning, thoroughly understand, internalize the contents of the book and apply them into practice.

 

Finally, Mr. Yu summarized the study meeting. He pointed out that studying the third volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of Chinais of great significance. He emphasized that division-level cadres should keep reading the original text, remember the contents, and apply them into practice, in a bid to thoroughly master and integrate the theoretical knowledge. He required that the division-level cadres should continuously develop greater consciousness of the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, follow the leadership core and keep in alignment; he demanded that the division-level cadres should foster stronger confidence in the path, theory, system and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics, andshould uphold the authority as well as the centralized and unified leadership of the CPC Central Committee with comrade Xi Jinping at its core; he also stressed that the division-level cadres should improve themselves and stay true to their mission of actively spreading new ideas among the faculty and students.
