[Sanxiaxiang Program] Practice Teams of Youth Volunteer Association of HUTB Participate in Cultural and Ethical Practices in New Era

From July 31 to August 8, the practice teams of College Student Youth Volunteer Association of HUTB carried out “Sanxiaxiang” activities in the Practice Centers for Cultural and Ethical Progress in New Era of Yindong Community of Yiyang City, Changhua Community of Changsha City, Renyi Town of Guiyang County, Chenzhou City, and Ningxiang City, popularizing cultural, technological and medical knowledge in these areas. With the aimofpassingon culture and ethics in the new era, the practice teams took part in the volunteer cultural and ethical practices in the new era and interact with community residents in multiple ways.
The practice teams gave lectures on the program of Bringing the Language of ‘Ping’ Closer to the People, explaining the speeches made by Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the Communist Party of China. Meanwhile, the practice teams organized residents to watch the video ofNo Practice, No Gain in one's Wit, the seventh episode of this program, Bringing the Language of ‘Ping’ Closer to the People. General Secretary Xi Jinping highlighted personal practices. He expressed that efforts should be done to stimulate such awareness among the masses, to encourage practicing, and to promote the truth that “experience is the best teacher”. “The ancients spared no effort in studying and often did not make achievements until old ages. Personal practices are essential for the profound understanding of theoretical knowledge. Sister, I can recite this poem now!” After the lecture, a fifth grader shouted excitedly, and saidthat from now on, he wouldbe an honest person.
The practice teams visited these communities and issued questionnaires to deeply understand the current situation of the volunteer cultural and ethical practices in the new era in the localities. The practice teams organized a publicity activity to emphasize the necessity of actively knowing current affairs, to arouse residents’ initiative to seek development and forge ahead in pace with the Party. After the publicity, the residents talked about their happy life under the leadership of the Party. “Our country is really getting better and better!” an old man said excitedly. During these activities, the team members also more clearly understood the Practice Centers for Cultural and Ethical Progress in the New Era and became more determined to dedicate themselves and contribute power to China’s development.
Building Practice Centers for Cultural and Ethical Progress in New Era serves as an important carrier to deeply publicize Xi Jinping’s thoughts on socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era. Through practical deeds, the practice teams displayed a fresh look of culture and ethics in the new era, demonstrated their sense of responsibility and mission, and contribute to building a harmonious socialist society.
