Department of Physical Education & Research Carries out Activities Themed at “Act Now in Epidemic Prevention and Control”

On the morning of June 11, the Department of Physical Education & Research organized the labor union events and teaching and research activities themed at “Act Now in Epidemic Prevention and Control;Maintain Physical and Psychological Health to Unite the Strength”, in the university gymnasium. All faculty members of the Department of Physical Education & Research participated in these activities.

These activities aim to further carry out the epidemic prevention and control work, improve the anti-epidemic capabilities of faculty members, enrich their cultural life, enhance their physical and mental health, cultivate a positive and healthy campus sports cultural atmosphere, and display the faculty’s good mental outlook. Based on the online teaching contents in this semester, the bodybuilding breathing exercise, Baduanjin, was collectively performed during these activities. The labor union teams made up of four teaching and research offices competed in such sports as Baduanjin, speed rope skipping as well as fancy rope skipping.

All teachers actively participated in these activities, fully demonstrating their personal qualities of persistence, self-confidence, and tenaciousness and team spirits of communication, trying and cooperation. Through these activities, the teachers passed on the sports culture which emphasized etiquette, inclusiveness and rules and displayed sports enthusiasts’ courage to challenge, to break, and to innovate; the teachers injected energy into the epidemic prevention and control, stimulated the momentum for further advancement, and united the strength for the booming development of the Department of Physical Education & Research.
