University-enterprise Cooperation Negotiated by and between Tourism Management School and Hunan Xiangjiang Group

In order to further implement the arrangements made by CPC Central Committee, State Council and Ministry of Education oncollege graduates’employment and entrepreneurship, actively explore employment channels for graduates, strengthen regional talentsdelivery, and establish long-term university-enterprisecooperation with high-quality enterprise groups, on the morning of May 26, Yi Yumei, deputy director of Admission and Employment Guidance Dept, Li Jilin, secretary of Party Committee of Tourism Management School, and Guo Yihong, deputy secretary of Party Committee led a team to visit Dawangshan Tourism Resort of Hunan Xiangjiang New District Development Group for an on-the-spot investigation, as well as the negotiation on university-enterprisecooperation issuesincluding graduatesemployment, establishment of practice basesandtalents training.
Hunan Xiangjiang New District Development Group organized HUTB guests to visit Dawangshan Tourism Resort and its subordinate Langham Hotel. At the symposium, Yi Yumei, Yi Yumei, deputy director of Admission and Employment Guidance Dept, introduced HUTB’s development history, disciplinesconstruction, talents training and graduates employment. She analyzed the necessity of university-enterprise cooperation under the current situation. She pointed out that university-enterprisecooperation is an important measureto effectively promote the students to combine theory withpractice, enabling university and enterprise realize complementary advantages, resource sharing and mutual benefit and win-winresult, so as to effectively improve the pertinence and effectiveness of education and improve the quality of students employment and entrepreneurship.
Li Xueya, CHRO of Dawangshan Tourism Resort of Hunan Xiangjiang New District Development Group introduced the historical evolution, site facilities, management ideasand other aspectsof Dawangshan Tourism Resort and Langham Hotel. He expressed his gratitude to HUTBfor its emphasis on university-enterprisecooperation, and hopedthat more outstanding talents would be trainedby virtue of the advantages of university-enterprisecooperationto meet the needof Hunan Xiangjiang New District Development Group. Meanwhile, he warmly invited the grade-2016 graduates of Tourism Management School to attend the large job fair in Langham Hotel.
Li Jilin, secretary of the Party Committee of Tourism Management School, gave a detailed introduction to the situation of school running, emphasizing that college students’professional advantages are in line with the professional needs of Dawangshan Tourism Resort and Langham HotelofHunan Xiangjiang New District Development Group. He hoped that the cooperation with Hunan Xiangjiang New District Development Groupwould effectively promote such cooperative projects as grade-2016 graduatesemployment, grade-2017 studentsprofessional internship, university-enterprise joint training of talents, and scientific research projectsjoint R&D.Guo Yihong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Tourism Management School, said that the college would actively organize and mobilize grade-2016 graduates to participate in the large-scale job fair in Langham Hotel, so as to achieve smooth and full employment of the graduates.
