Beijin College Organized the Training on Epidemic Prevention and Control for the Teaching and Administrative Staff

In order to implement the provincial and municipalauthorities’requirements on epidemic prevention and control, strengthen the epidemic prevention and control in the of campus, and ensure the health and life safety of the returned teachers and students, Beijin Collegecarried out the training on epidemic prevention and control for the teaching and administrative staff on May 21. Li Xiaohui, Section Chief of Wangcheng District Disease Control and Prevention Center was invited to give a keynote lecture. Mo Xiangyi,Dean of Beijing College, Wang Wenping,Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee,and Deputy Dean He Yingping attended the trainingactivity.

At the training meeting, Section Chief Li Xiaohui introduced Changsha CityDisease Control and PreventionCenter’s main requirements onteaching & studying resumption in colleges and universities during the epidemic prevention and control period. The training was carried out for the staff in the following aspects: key points for studentsreturning to school, studentsbody temperature testingprocess, temperature measuring gunuse and sterilization, maskuse and disposal, and emergency treatment of suspected infection symptoms. She stressed that the current season is a high incidence of common cold and that the rhinovirus is active. Universities should carry out all kinds of work in strict accordance with the requirements onepidemic prevention and control, strengthen the publicity and education of epidemic prevention knowledge, and adhere to the principle of preventing the spread of the virus and taking precautions.

Thetraining has further improved the epidemic prevention and control competenceof the staff in Beijin College, laying a solid foundation for the smooth teaching & studying resumption in the college. (by Jiang Yongli, Beijin College)
