The Library Made Good Achievements in the 2019 Academic Annual Meeting of University Libraries in Six Provinces (Regions) in Central and South China

From November 2 to 5, the 32nd Annual meeting of University Libraries of Six Provinces (Regions) in Central and South China was held in Luoyang. The librarian of our university won 1 special award, 2 first awards and 1 second award in this conference, which set a new record and added brilliance to 70th anniversary present splendor.

The theme of this conference is "changing the new era and creating the future of university libraries". Librarians discussed and exchanged the latest research achievements in the construction and development of university libraries in the new era, and looked forward to the development prospect of the library cause in the new era. The conference discussed the following three aspects: expert reports, exchange of experiences, and sharing of award-winning papers. Zhu Qiang, a library scientist and Chief Librarian of Peking University, and Wang Xincai, Chief Librarian of Wuhan University, Zheng Zhangfei, Chief Librarian of Hunan University, and others reported on "the opportunities and challenges of university libraries in the new era", "the construction of library discipline system facing the future" and "the new trend of service innovation of university libraries".
