School of Laws and Public Administration Won Three First Awards in the Central Region Selection Contest of the Fourth "National Urban Management Contest for College Students"

On September 21, the Central Region Selection Contest of the Fourth "National Urban Management Contest for College Students" sponsored by the Teaching Steering Committee of Public Administration in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education and the Urban Management Professional Committee of China Regional Science Association, was hosted by Law School and School of Public Administration of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, was held in Wuhan. The Central Region Selection Contest of the National Urban Management Contest was divided into undergraduate group and graduate group, from 28 universities such as Wuhan University, Xiangtan University and Anhui Normal University. A total of 68 works (63 undergraduate group and 5 graduate group) participated in the competition.

After the competition of on-the-spot report and defense, School of Laws and Public Administration of our university won the Outstanding Organization Award. Three teams of youth practice team (Youth for struggle · Reform Spring Breeze Group Farmers' Satisfaction toward Yueyang "Empty House Renovation+" Model and Its Influence-- based on the Perspective of Livelihood Capital, Youth for struggle · Living Environment Group Evaluation of Satisfaction of Urban Human Settlements in Yueyanglou District and Its Renovation Strategy", Youth for Struggle · Pushi Town Culture Group "Research on the Coupling Relationship between the Construction of Characteristic Towns and Culture and Tourism Resources in Ethnic Areas under the Background of Rural Revitalization Strategy-- taking the Ancient Town of Luxi and Pushi as Examples) successfully stood out from the ranks of 68 undergraduates and postgraduates. Three first prizes were won, and all three teams were shortlisted in the national finals. Following the Third "National Urban Management Contest for College Students", the seven teams of the youth practice team won 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes and 1 third prize, setting a new record.



The National Urban Management Contest for College Students provides a professional practice and testing platform for urban management and other public management majors across the country, and it is an important event for academic exchanges and cooperation in urban management and other public management majors.
