D-level Coach Training of Chinese Football Association (CFA) Was Conducted at Our University in 2019

During the summer vacation, the D-level Coach Training of Chinese Football Association in 2019, sponsored by CFA and jointly organized by Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC) and our university, was conducted at our university.

The training was divided into two periods, with 24 students of each period. Li Qiang, member of the Coach Committee of FUSC Football Branch, Zhang Yu, Deputy Director of Hunan Coach Committee, Bu Yifeng, Vice Dean of JSNU Institute of Physical Education, Kuang Yumei, Secretary of PE Teaching and Research Department and Tang Yi, Deputy Director of PE Teaching and Research Department of our university attended the opening ceremony of the two periods respectively.

Wang Qiang, a professional coach of FIFA and Yue Min, a former Chinese women's football player and a B-level coach of CFA, were invited as the training instructors. Li Zhuo, a women's football coach at our university and Zheng Yizhong, a full-time PE teacher, also participated in the training.

Through this scientific, systematic and high-intensity training, students not only had a significant improvement in football theory and training practice, but also had a new understanding of how to guide young people to actively participate in football, promoting the development of football in our university. The training would further improve the teaching level of the youth football coaches in Hunan Province, lay a foundation for the cultivation and expansion of the excellent campus football coaches, further promote sustainable development of the youth campus football activities in Hunan Province.
