International Exchange and Cooperation Office Held the Seminar on International Students and Management of International Students

In the afternoon of Jun. 3, Du Zhengang, the leader of the Foreign Affairs Management Team of the Population and Exit & Entry Management Branch of Changsha Public Security Bureau, together with five people from Changsha Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection Station, visited our university and gave a lecture to our international students in the Lecture Hall in Classroom 301 of No. 2 Office Building.
The main contents of the lecture included How To Optimize the Management of International Students in Colleges and Universities, Explanation of Visa Norms and Laws and Regulations on Foreign Affairsand Analysis of Illegal Cases of International Students in Colleges and Universities, etc., so that international students could have a comprehensive understanding of China's exit & entry policy knowledge and laws and regulations on international student management, and further know how to regulate the performance and behavior during the study in China and better to adapt to the life of studying in China. This also enhances the confidence of international students in our university to study safely and achieve good results.

After the lecture, the Foreign Affairs Management Team and the Frontier Inspection Station had an exchange with Pan Jian, Director-general of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, and the Head of the International Student Management Department. Director-general Pan Jian made a report on the current situation of enrollment and management of international students in our university, and put forward the main problems in our management of international students.
After listening to the report, Du Zhengang, the leader of the Foreign Affairs Management Team, fully affirmed the current situation and development speed of our education and management of international students, gave relevant guidance on the problems in the management of international students, and pointed out the strategic direction for further management of international students in our university. The comrades of the Frontier Inspection Station also said that they would work together with the Foreign Affairs Management Team to actively cooperate with our university to provide support for the exit and entry of international students in our university, and manage the exit and entry of international students.
