Practicing Environmental Protection Concept, Striving to be the HNUC Model, the Military Association “Marched on Foot” for 10 Kilometers

On the morning of November 25, South campus members of the Military Association, HNUC, ranked in file and were fully equipped for the march. After advisor emphasizing the meaning, safety and other related matters, all teachers, instructors and members marched on foot for 10 kilometers from the South campus to the North campus.

The “marching on foot” lasted for three hours. Under the orderly organization of the commander, and squad and platoon leaders, all members, highly disciplined, walked with a soldierly stride. Key members paid attention to the traffic when members came to traffic lights in order to keep their safety. In the process, with resonant slogans, and passionate songs rising one after another, the high-spirited and vigorous spiritual attitude of the Military Association has been displayed. None of the member fell behind during the march, demonstrating a strong sense of collective honor. After arriving at the north campus, members from both campuses jointly organized singing competition and parade inspection.
The Military Association practiced environmental protection concept with practical actions in this “matching on foot” activity, setting up a role model of environmental protection for all HNUCers. Meanwhile, the link between members of the south and north campus was enhanced. South campus members have experienced the joys and sorrows of 10 kilometers’ trailwalk, which not only built up their bodies and trained their wills, but also enhanced tacit understanding among members, improved the sense of collective honor, and promoted the cohesive force of the Military Association.
