Our University Held the Job Fair for 2017-grade Graduates and Interns

36 famous enterprises including Bank of Beijing Co., Ltd., Hunan Mendale Household Textile Co., Ltd., Pepsi Co., Inc. and others attended this job fair and provided more than 1000 jobs, and this job fair covered the most majors of our university, including the online job fair and offline job fair. The offline job fair first used the electronic registration, which could make the accurate statistics of the college, major and employment direction of each attended graduate. For the online job fair, the students could choose to deliver resume online for accepting the selection of the employers. The online page view of this intern job fair reached 18,000 person-times.
The site atmosphere was hot, and nearly 1,000 students attended this job fair. More than 400 2017-grade graduates reached the internship intention with the employers. During the on-site exchange at the job fair, the employers said that our students had quite solid professional foundation and higher comprehensive quality, but their practical experiences and employment abilities shall need to be further improved. They hoped that the graduates could actively participate in the summer internship practice for comprehensively enhancing their employment competitiveness.
This intern job fair invited the responsible person of Hunan Aoturen Group for conducting the resume diagnosis in the job fair site and helping students enhance advantages and avoid disadvantages and stand out from the crowd in the resume writing.
So far, the employment work of 2016-grade graduates basically ended, and the employment of 2017-graduates officially started. According to the statistics, our university held total 214 special job fairs for 2016-grade graduates, providing 12,892 jobs; 42 medium-sized job fairs, attracting 1,276 enterprises providing 21,688 jobs; and 1 large job fair, attracting 219 enterprises providing 6,008 jobs; 1,796 enterprises adopted the way of requiring students to deliver resume to the Email for the recruitment, providing 22,533 jobs. The ratio between the number of graduates and the number of jobs among 2016-grade graduates is 1:18, so we will focus on enhancing the employment ability of the graduates comprehensively and enhancing the employment quality of the graduates in the employment of 2017-grade graduates.
